Rummy is an interesting card game of strategy, combination and luck. It is suitable for both children and adults.

At the start of a game, you are dealt a number of cards. The aim of the game is to play all your cards as quickly as possible, forming groups of three or more cards. These can be either consecutive cards of the same suit, or cards of the same face value in different suits. You draw cards from the stock when you can't play.

Many variations of Rummy exist. The more interesting ones allow you to add your cards to groups already on the table, or to rearrange cards that already on the table, in order to create new possibilities to play your cards.

Tile Rummy is a variation played with tiles with colored numbers, instead of ordinary playing cards. It originates in the Middle East, in countries like Israel and Turkey, where another variation played with tiles is known under the name of Okey. Tile Rummy is it is now a popular game in many other parts of the world. Equipment for this game is sold in many countries under the trade name of Rummikub�, so you might know the game under that name.
